Ctg hill slide kills old man
Chittagong, June 17 (UNB) – An old man was killed in a hill slide in Firoz Shah Colony area under Khulshi Police Station in the city on Sunday.
The dead is Nurul Islam, 70, a resident of the colony and son of Ledu Mia.
Police said Nurul was responding to the call of nature at a lavatory under the foot of a hill beside No 1 Jheel near a mosque in the morning. All on a sudden a chunk of earth fell on the lavatory from the top of the rain-soaked hill instantly killing Nurul.
