Dhaka, June 18 (UNB) – Prodeep Kumar Dutta joined the state-owned Sonali Bank Ltd as its new managing director and chief executive officer on Sunday.
 
Prior to joining the bank, Prodeep acted as the managing director of Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB), said a Sonali Bank press release on Monday.
 
Beginning his banking career as a Senior Officer (apprentice) at Sonali Bank in 1977, Prodeep also acted in many important posts of the bank in his long career.
