News - Saudi King’s adviser meets Khaleda
Dhaka, June 18 (UNB) - Saudi King Abdullah’s adviser Dr Abdullah Omar Nasif met Leader of the Opposition Khaleda Zia at her suite in Jeddah Royal Palace Conference on Monday.

Omar Nasif, also a former deputy speaker of Saudi Majlis-e-Shura, met Khaleda at 4:30pm (Saudi time), said a press release signed by BNP chairperson's press secretary Maruf Kamal Khan.

During the nearly an hour-long meeting, they discussed various issues of bilateral interest.

Khaleda went to Saudi Arabia early Saturday for medical checkup.

During her stay in Saudi Arabia, she is likely to hold meetings with Saudi King Abdullah and other high Saudi officials.

Khaleda is scheduled to return home on June 21.
