Navy chief meets President

Dhaka, June 19 (UNB) – Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Jahir Uddin Ahmed called on President Zillur Rahman at Bangabhaban on Tuesday.

During the meeting, the Navy Chief apprised the President of various development activities of Navy and also invited him to attend the national standard awarding ceremony of BNS Haji Mohsin.

President Zillur Rahman gave him a patient hearing and thanked the Navy Chief for discharging his duties sincerely.

Secretaries to the President’s office were present.
