Dhaka, June 20 (UNB) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina met President Zillur Rahman at Bangabhaban Wednesday evening and handed over a set of books titled ‘Unfinished Autobiography’, the recently published autobiography of Bangabandhu written by his own hands.
Receiving the set of books from the Prime Minister, President Zillur Rahman said these documents are “invaluable property of the nation.”
He said the countrymen and the future generation will be able to know the history of the uprising a nation from these books which were written when Bangabandhu was in prison.
Apart from educating people about the long history and background of Bangladesh’s liberation, the President said these documents will encourage the future generation to move forward being imbued with the spirit of deep patriotism.
Bangabandhu’s younger daughter, Sheikh Rehana, and secretaries of the President’s Office were present.
