16 Rohingyas held in Teknaf

News - 16 Rohingyas held in Teknaf
Cox’s Bazar, June 21 (UNB) – BGB members on Thursday held 16 Rohingyas from different points of the Naaf River in Teknaf upazila.

Teknaf BGB-42 commanding officer Lt Conl Zahid Hassan said they detained the 16 Rohingyas from Nhilla, Naftek, Sabrang, Shah Parir Dwip points of the river since morning.

He said they will send back the Rohingyas, all men, after providing them with necessary foods.

Many Rohingyas fleeing violence in western Myanmar are trying to enter Bangladesh territory.
