Workshop on higher education begins at UGC

Dhaka, June 21 (UNB) – A three-day workshop on ‘Strengthening Leadership Capacity in Higher Education’ began here on Thursday aiming to help build leadership capacity.

British Council, Bangladesh and the University Grants Commission (UGC) arranged the workshop at the UGC auditorium.

UGC Chairman Prof Dr AK Azad Chowdhury inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest, said a press release.

UGC members -- Prof Dr Atful Hye Shibly, Prof Dr Mohammad Mohabbat Khan, Prof Dr Abul Hashem, Prof Dr M Akhtar Hossain and UGC Secretary Dr M. Khaled, among others, were present on the occasion.

Dr Hank Williams, a UK Management Consultant and trainer conducted the workshop.
