Dhaka, June 21 (UNB) - A total of 153 police officers from Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) to SP have been promoted, according to a Home Ministry announcement.

It says among the police officers, 91 ASPs have been upgrade to Additional SPs, 42 Additional SPs to SPs and 20 SPs to Additional Deputy Inspectors General of Police with immediate effect.
