Indian liquor seized in Sylhet

Sylhet, June 22 (UNB) - Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel recovered 379 bottles of Indian liquor at Majhertuk in Companyganj upazila on Thursday.

Being tipped off, a BGB team of Kalairag BOP conducted a drive in the area at about 1 pm and recovered 379 bottles of Indian Officers’ Choice liquor worth about Tk 5.68 lakh.

However, no one was arrested as the smugglers managed to escape.
