Dhaka, June 23 (UNB) – BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, now in Saudi Arabia, will return home early Monday completing her medical checkup.
Quoting the opposition leader’s press secretary, Maruf Kamal Khan, her media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan told UNB on Saturday that the health checkup of the BNP chairperson has completed and she will return home early Monday.
She is scheduled to reach Hazrat Shahjalal (R) International Airport around 2:50am by a regular flight of Qatar Airways.
Khaleda went to Saudi Arabia on June 16 at the invitation of the Saudi government for her medical treatment. She underwent her health checkup at The King Faisal Specialised Hospital.
During her stay in Saudi Arabia, the BNP chief also performed holy Umrah and held meetings with Saudi officials and OIC Secretary General Dr Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu.
