Microbus driver burned alive in Gazipur

Gazipur, June 25 (UNB) –  A microbus driver was burned alive as his vehicle caught fire following its gas cylinder blast in Sadar upazila early today (Monday).

Police recovered the charred body of the victim in the morning and sent it to Gazipur Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Police said the gas cylinder of the microbus exploded with a big bang after it hit a stationary truck at Rajendrapur on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in the early hours. The microbus caught fire after the explosion. The driver was burned alive as he got trapped in the bus. 

The microbus got damaged fully in the fire incident.
