2 held with 150 bottles of phensidyl in Jessore

Benapole (Jessore), June 29 (UNB) – Police arrested a BRTC bus driver and its supervisor for possessing 150 bottles of phensidyl at Monihar bus stand in Jessore town on Thursday midnight.

The arrested were identified as driver Oliar Rahman and supervisor Ilias.

Acting on secret information, a team of law enforcers intercepted the  Netrakona bound BRTC bus from Mongla at the bus stand and recovered 150 bottles of phensidyl, kept in two bags behind the seat of the driver at about 12:10 am.

A case was filed against them under Narcotics Control Act.
