2 motorcyclists killed in Narsingdi road crash

Narsingdi, June 29 (UNB) – Two motorcyclists were killed when a truck rammed into their bike on Narsingdi-Tongi road at Ghorashal in Polash upazila on Friday evening.

The deceased were identified as Mobarok, 45 and his friend Ringku, 42 of Belabo village in Sadar upazila.

Police said the accident took place in the area at about 5pm when a Narsingdi-bound truck hit a motorbike leaving its rider Mobarok dead on the spot and co-rider Ringku seriously injured.

Critically injured Ringku was rushed to Ghorashal Hospital where he died later.

On information police recovered the bodies and sent those to Sadar hospital morgue for autopsy.

A case was filed in this connection.
