Comilla, June 30 (UNB) - A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident at Gabindapur on Dhaka–Chittagong highway in Chandina upazila on Saturday morning.

The victim was identified as Md Abdul Kader, 38, son of Mohammad Ali of Barodowar village in Adarsha Sadar upazila.

Police quoting witnesses said a speedy covered van hit his motorcycle in the area at about 8:30am, leaving him dead on the spot.

Police seized the vehicle but its driver managed to flee the scene.

A case was filed.
