7 DU teachers get allocation for research
Dhaka, June 30 (UNB) – Dhaka University Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique handed over among teachers the cheques for money allocated to conduct research on Saturday.
Biotechnology Research Centre of DU selected seven teachers for conducting research work.
They are: Prof. M. Aftabuddin of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Department, Dr. AKM Mahbub Hasan and Dr. AHM Nurun Nabi of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department, Prof. M Monjurul Karim and Dr. Sangita Ahmed of Microbiology Department, Dr. M Oliur Rahman of Botany Department and Prof. M Golam Mustafa of Fisheries Department.
Prof. Dr. MA Malek, Dean of Biological Science and Prof. Md Anwarul Islam, Director of Biotechnology Research Centre, were, among others, presented at the handing over the ceremony.
