Dhaka, July 1 (UNB) - A moderate earthquake measuring  5.5 on the Richter Scale jolted different parts of the country, including Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet, on Sunday morning.

According to the Met Office in Dhaka, the epicentre of the earthquake was in Bangladesh-Myanmar border, 491 km north-east of Dhaka.

However, there was no immediate report of any damage or casualty.
