Dhaka, July 3 (UNB) – The BNP-led 18-party alliance will stage demonstrations and hold a rally in front of its Nayapaltan central office on Wednesday to press for their various demands.

The demands include holding the next general election under a caretaker administration and putting an end to incidents of enforced disappearances.

The rally is also meant for protesting the disappearance of BNP leader M Illias Ali, killing of journalist couple Sagar-Runi and Saudi diplomat Khalaf Al Ali and the worsening law and order situation.

The rally will begin at 3 pm, according to a press release.
