News - Stocks extend losses
Dhaka, July 4 (UNB) – Share prices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange and Chittagong Stock Exchange - plunged further at the closing on Wednesday.

DGEN, the benchmark index of DSE, lost 76.66 points or 1.75 percent to close at 4283.87 points. Of the issues traded on the day, 33 advanced, 211 declined and only 15 remained unchanged.

The CSE key index, CSCX, also lost 130.86 points to stand at 8256.64 points at the closing. Of the issues traded, 18 advanced, 152 declined and 13 remained unchanged.
