PM trashes graft allegation against her, her family members
Dhaka, July 4 (UNB) - Dismissing the allegations of graft against her and her family members, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday said she and her family members never indulged in any sort of corruption and commission business.
“By family members I mean my sister and our five children. We’ve no family members besides them,” she told parliament in response to a supplementary question from independent lawmaker M Fazlul Azim (Noakhali-6) during the PM’s question-answer session.
The Prime Minister urged all to inform her immediately if anyone ever tries to take any advantage using her name and that of her family members.
Hasina also gave her e-mail address and personal cell-phone numbers to let her know through e-mail and SMS (short message service) about any corruption using her name or the names of her family members.
