Dhaka, July 4 (UNB) - Former national cricketer and national sports award winner Syed Abdul Majid Koran died of heart attack at a local hospital Tuesday night at the age of 72.
Koran, a national sports award winner in 2008, had represented the East Pakistan Cricket Team and had a distinguished career in Dhaka club cricket.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board and CCDM expressed their deep condolences at the demise of former cricketer and organiser Abdul Majid Koran.
The BCB extended heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family members of the deceased.
