Food adulteration: 2 Magura traders fined

Magura, July 6 (UNB) - A mobile court during an anti-adulteration drive in the district town on Thursday fined two traders Tk 9,000 for selling adulterated food items.

The mobile court led by magistrate Dipak Kumar Roy fined Manirul Islam, owner of Bhai Bhai Bakery Tk 7000 for selling adulterated food and preparing foods in an unhygienic environment during the drive in town’s police lines area.

Later, in another drive the same court fined Subash Chandra owner of Subash Store in Jamtala area Tk 2000 for selling date-expired food items.
