
Sirajganj, July 9 (UNB) - Four people, including three members of a family, were killed and nine others injured when a CNG run auto-rickshaw crashed into a human hauler on Bogra-Nagarbari highway at Gardah in Shahzadpur upazila Monday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Jahurul, 42 of Char Chalanbil village in Gurudaspur upazila in Bogra district, his wife Kohinur, 35, their son Naim, 13 and Nayeb Ali, son of Ansar Ali of Charkadai Ghatpara village in Shahzadpur upazila of the district.
Police said the accident took place 1:15 pm when a Shahzadpur bound auto-rickshaw from Hatikumrul hit a human hauler (locally known Nosimon) coming from opposite direction, leaving four people dead on the spot and injuring others.
The injured were rushed to sadar hospital and different clinics.
Police recovered the bodies. A case was filed in this connection.
