Arambagh KS beat Monsur SC 45-11 in 1st Div Handball
Dhaka, July 9 (UNB) -Arambagh KS defeated Monsur Sporting Club by 45-11 goals in the Orient Bread First Division Men’s Handball League at the Shaheed (Capt.) Monsur Ali National Handball Stadium here today (Monday).
The winners led the first half by 21-5 goals.
Hannan, Monir and Sanvir scored seven goals each for the winners while Rafiqul Islam also scored seven goals for the losers.
In the day’s other match, Purbachal Parishad beat Jatrabari Sports Academy by 21-15 goals after leading the first half 13-10 at the same venue.
Subrata scored 10 goals for the winners while Ziaul netted seven goals for the losers.
Tuesday’s matches: Monsur SC vs Purbachal Parishad (1:30 pm); Satirtha Club vs Arambagh KS (2:45 pm); and Jatrabari SA vs Prime SC.
