CNG Auto-rickshaw Owners Association calls off strike

Dhaka, July 10 (UNB) - Dhaka Mahanagar CNG Auto-rickshaw Businessman-Owners Association called off their 48-hour strike, scheduled to begin in Dhaka and Chittagong Metropolitan areas tomorrow (Wednesday), for two months.

The association decided to call off the strike as BRTA Chairman and Joint Commissioner (Traffic) at a meeting with the association leaders assured of fulfilling the 10-point demand of the association within two months, said a press release.

President of the association Barkat Ullah Bhulu and general secretary Faridul Islam Khasru were present at the meeting.
