Khaleda to greet 3 Everest conquerors
Dhaka, July 10 (UNB) - BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia will accord a reception to three Bangladeshi Mount Everest conquerors tomorrow (Wednesday).
The Everest conquerors are MA Mohit, Nishat Majumder, and Wasfia Nazrin. The reception will be held at the BNP chairperson’s Gulshan office at 8:30pm, BNP sources said on Tuesday.
Nishat scaled the Mount Everest on May 19 to become the first Bangladeshi woman to conquer the world's highest peak while Wasfia Nazreen is the second Bangladeshi woman to conquer Everest on May 26.
MA Mohit is the first Bangladeshi who reached the top of Everest twice. On May 19, he climbed the Mount Everest for the second time.
Musa Ibrahim scaled the Mount Everest as the first Bangladeshi on May 23, 2010.
