President to publish 5th population census report July 16
Dhaka, July 11 (UNB) – President Zillur Rahman will publish the final report of the 5th population and household census 2011 on July 16 by clicking website from Bangabhaban.
The report will include country’s total population, number of males and females, total households and families and also the rate of population growth.
Planning Minister Air-vice Marshal (retd) AK Khandoker met President Zillur Rahman at Bangabhaban today (Wednesday) and requested him to formally make the report public.
Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) has taken measures to publish reports of all (64) districts through CDs and its website.
All deputy commissioners as heads of district population census are entitled to publish the report on the same day through calling press conference in their respective districts.
