BEIJING, JULY 11 (AP/UNB) - A Chinese auto industry group says sales in the world's biggest car market rose 9 percent in June despite a slowing economy.
Â
The China Automobile Manufacturers Association said Wednesday that 1.58 million cars, trucks and buses were sold in China last month.
Â
The figures are an unusual bright spot in a Chinese economy that has seen economic growth and industrial activity slow in recent months.
