Husband kills wife in Natore

Natore, July 15 (UNB) - A housewife was strangulated to death allegedly by her husband at Pakuria village in Singra upazila early Sunday.

The victim was identified as Asma Begum, 30, wife of Hasan Ali of the village.

Police said Hasan beat up mercilessly and strangled Asma to death and hanged her body from the ceiling at one stage of their altercation following a family feud at midnight on Saturday and went into hiding.

On information police recovered the body and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy.

Police arrested Kamol Hossain and Hasina Begum, father and mother in law of the victim.

A case was filed.
