Man crushed under truck in Jessore

Benapole (Jessore), July 16 (UNB) - A man was crushed under the wheels of a truck at Ulshi Bazar in Sharsha upazila of Jessore district on Sunday morning.

The deceased was identified as Mozammel Hossain, 50, son of late Tofazzal Hossain of Kashiadanga village in the upazila.

Police said the Jessore-bound speedy truck hit Mozammel while he was crossing the road, leaving him dead on the spot.

A UD case was filed with Sharsha police station in this connection.
