Stocks down at opening

Dhaka, July 16 (UNB) -- Share prices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) - nosedived in the early trading on Monday.

The DSE benchmark index, DGEN lost 66.78 points or 1.66 percent to reach 3934.36 points at 10:50 am today. Of the issues traded till then, 10 gained, 139 declined and only 3 remained unchanged.

Similarly, the CSE key index, CSCX lost 114.95 points to stand at 7662.44 points also at 10:50 am today.

Of the issues traded till then, 15 gained, 65 declined and 7 remained unchanged.
