3 arrested with firearms in Gazipur

Gazipur, July 16 (UNB) – Police arrested three young men along with firearms at Kalameshwar village in sadar upazila on Sunday.

The arrestees are Rubel, 24, son of Abul Hashem of the village and his tenants Sheikh Farid, 22 and Lal Mia, 20.

Police said on secret information they launched a drive and arrested the three young men along with a foreign made pistol and four rounds of bullet at night when they were allegedly taking preparation to commit a robbery in the area.
