4 drug runners held in Natore; Huge phensidyl recovered

Natore, July 17 (UNB) - Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested four alleged drug peddlers from a mango-laden truck along with 744 bottles of phensidyl at Tokiachalan in Sadar upazila on Monday morning.

The arrestees were identified as Habibullah, Kazem Ali, Nazim Uddin and Zilani Fakir.

RAB-5 sources said acting on secret information, a team of RAB-5 conducted a drive at Tokiachalan and arrested them along with 744 bottles Indian phensidyl syrup from a Dhaka-bound mango-laden truck from Chapainawabganj.

A case was filled and the arrested were handed over to Natore Police Station along with the truck.
