Chapainawabganj, July 19 (UNB) – Members of BGB arrested a woman drug peddler in possession of heroin worth Tk 1 crore from Hatpara Ghat area on Thursday.

The arrested was identified as Togori Khatun, 35, wife of Omar Ali of Bakchar village in sadar upazila.

Operation Officer of Chapainawabganj 9 Border Guard Battalion Major Nayeem said a team of BGB while conducting a drive arrested Togori and recovered 1 kg heroin after searching her in the area at 9 am.

A case was filed.
