Cheques for salary of teachers, employees released

Dhaka, July 22 (UNB) – Cheques for the government portion of salaries and allowances of the teachers and employees of MPO-listed educational institutions have been handed over to the banks concerned.

A total of 12 government cheques for the salaries for the month of June have been handed over to the head offices of grant distributing Agrani Bank Ltd and Rupali Bank Ltd, and local branches of Janata Bank Ltd and Sonali Bank Ltd, said a PID handout on Sunday.

The teachers and employees of schools, colleges and madrasahs can draw their government portion of salaries and allowances from the banks concerned till July 29.
