KHAR, Pakistan, JULY 26 (AP/UNB) - A government official says a bomb has exploded in a market in northwestern Pakistan close to the Afghan border, killing at least four people.

Zamin Khan says Thursday's blast in Salarzai town in the Bajur tribal area also wounded 11 people and damaged several shops and vehicles. Khan is a local government administrator.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but the Pakistani Taliban have a strong presence in Bajur. The army has carried out several offensives against them, but they continue to stage attacks.
