Manikganj, July 27 (UNB)- Two people were electrocuted at Elachipur village in Shibaloy upazila Friday morning.

The deceased were identified as Ishaq,60, of Daskandi village and Bisha Khan,50, of Elachipur village.

Police said when they went to catch fish from a canal early in the morning they came in contact with a live electric wire of a generator lying on the road that left both of them dead on the spot.

Police recovered the bodies.
