Khaleda attends NPP Iftar party

Dhaka, July 28 (UNB) - BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia attended an Iftar hosted by National People's Party (NPP) at a city hotel on Saturday.

NPP chief Sheikh Showkat Hossain Nilu welcomed the BNP chairperson and other guests at the party.

BNP standing committee members Dr Khandker Mosharraf Hossain, Dr Moyeen Khan, Barrister Jamiruddin Sircar, Bangladesh Jatiya Party President Andalib Rahman Partha, Jatiya Ganatantrik Party President Shafiul Alam Prodhan, Kalyan Party Chairman Maj Gen (retd) Syed Muhammad Ibrahim, Khelafat Majlish Ameer Moulana M Ishaque, Labour Party President Mustafizur Rahman Iran, Jamaat assistant secretary general Prof Mujibur Rahman, LDP presidium member Redwan Ahmed and Oikya Jote Secretary General Abdul Latif Nezami, among others, attended the Iftar.

Prior to the Iftar, a special munajat was offered seeking divine blessings for peace and prosperity of the people of Bangladesh.
