BGB member electrocuted in C`nawabganj

Chapainawabganj, July 29 (UNB) – A BGB member was electrocuted at Swarupnagar in the town on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Naymur Islam, 42, Nayek of Dinajpur-2 BGB Battalion and son of Faiz Uddin of Ramchandrapurhat village of sadar upazila.

Locals said Naymur was on a 1 month leave. He came in contact with a live electric wire and was severely injured as he was working at his under-construction house at about 2 pm.

He was rushed to Chapainawabganj Sadar Hospital where duty doctor declared him dead.
