2 drug runners held; 721 bottles phensidyl recovered

Faridpur, July 31 (UNB) – Police arrested two drug runners along with 721 bottles of phensidyl from a covered van at Rail Gate on Dhaka-Khulna highway in Madhukhali upazila on Monday afternoon.

The arrested were identified as Russell and Rabiul.

Madhukhali thana OC Nur-e-Alam Siddique said on secret information they conducted a drive at Rail Gate and arrested them from a covered van at 1 pm.

The contraband drugs were recovered from the vehicle during a search.

A case was filed.
