Trading on DSE, CSE resumes in red

News - Trading on DSE, CSE resumes in red
Dhaka, Aug 1 (UNB) - Trading on the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- resumed on Wednesday morning after a one-day suspension.

Meanwhile, share prices at the DSE and CSE nosedived in the early trading today.

The DSE benchmark index, DGEN lost 16.67 points or 0.40 percent to reach 4142.49 points at 11:15 am today. Of the issues traded till then, 58 gained, 90 declined and 15 remained unchanged.

The CSE key index, CSCX also lost 6.56 points to stand at 8049.12 also at 11:15 am.

Of the issues traded till then, 20 gained, 30 declined and 9 remained unchanged.

Trading on the country’s both bourses remained suspended for a day on Tuesday due to technical glitch in the server of Central Depository Bangladesh Limited (CDBL).
