Minor girl found dead in Pabna

Pabna, Aug 4 (UNB) - A minor girl was found dead at Sara Jhaudia village in Ishwardi upazila on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Misti, a class I student and daughter of Mostaq Ahmed, a day labourer, of the village.

Family sources said she went missing since Friday afternoon.

Locals found her body at a sugarcane field near her house at about 11am today and informed police.

Misti’s father said that there were several marks of injury in different of her body.

It is suspected that the miscreants might have killed her after rape and dumped her body at the field.
