Dhaka, Aug 4 (UNB) - Bangladesh will experience an internet connectivity blackout for three hours between 1am and 4am on Sunday due to undersea cable maintenance works at some points between Singapore and Thailand.
Internet gateway and submarine cable related officials said major repair works on the undersea cable will disrupt Bangladesh’s internet connectivity with the rest of the world during the period.
Bangladesh relies on a single submarine cable and faces such problems frequently although neighbouring countries like India, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia have alternative arrangements to avoid such hazards.
