News - Amini for tougher movement to reinstate caretaker system
Dhaka, Aug 5 (UNB) – Chairman of a faction of pro-opposition Islami Oikya Jote (IOJ) Mufti Fazlul Haque Amini on Sunday alleged that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is now running ‘here and there madly’ to get back to power in the next tenure.

“She (PM) knows that each of her Cabinet members including her family will be landed in jail if she fails to return to state power,” Amini claimed.

He made the remarks at a meeting with party activists of different districts at the party office in city’s Lalbagh area, according to a party release.

Amini asserted that Awami League will not come to power if election is held under non-party caretaker government.

He suggested launching movement and enforcing hartal to reinstate Caretaker Government (CG) system.
