News - Stocks up at closing
Dhaka, Aug 6(UNB) -Trading on country’s both bourses-Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchanges-closed high on Monday.
 
The DSE benchmark index, DGEN gains 52.41 points or 1.29 percent to reach 4092.28 points at close today. Of the issues traded till then, 203 gained, 41 declined and 25 remained unchanged.
 
The top 10 gainers of the day are— RN Spinning, Bangladesh Submarine Cables, Grameen Phone, Unique Hotels, Keya Cosmetics, Titas Gas, Saiham Cotton, United Air, Square Pharma and Meghna Petrolium.
 
Share price worth Tk. 239.08 crore were traded on Monday.
 
The CSE key index, CSCX also gained 105.08 points to stand at 7890.37 points at close today.
 
Of the issues traded till then, 150 gained, 25 declined and 9 remained unchanged.
 
The top 10 gainers in CSE of the day are— Meghna Petrolium, RN Spinning, Unique Hotels, Saiham Cotton, Bangladesh Submarine Cables, Lanka-Bangla Finance, Grameen Phone, Beximco, Aftab Auto and BEDL.
 
Share price worth Tk. 37.95 crore were traded on the day.
