BB to issue Tk 20 new note on Aug 8
Dhaka, Aug 6 (UNB) - Bangladesh Bank (BB) will release a new note of Tk 20 denomination with the portrait of founder of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Wednesday.
The central bank has decided to release the Tk 20 new note to remove confusion between the Tk 500 and Tk 20 notes.
The new note will be available at the central bank headquarters on August 8. It will be available in other branches of the central bank and that of commercial banks gradually.
