Gazipur, Aug 06 (UNB) – A young man was crushed under the wheels of a train at Bhawal Gazipur on Dhaka-Mymensingh railway tracks in sadar upazila on Sunday night.

The deceased was identified as Shafiqul Islam, 35, son of Shukkur Ali of Moshakhali village of Mymensingh.

Locals said the Dhaka-bound inter-city `Jamuna Express train ran over Shafiqul leaving him dead on the spot at the night.

He came to Bhawal Gaziur area to visit his sister.
