News - Stocks up at opening
Dhaka, Aug 7 (UNB) – Share prices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -– witnessed a positive trend in the early trading on Tuesday.

The DSE benchmark index, DGEN gained 31.72 points or 0.82 percent to reach 4126 points at 11:40 am today. Of the issues traded till then, 165 gained, 25 declined and 23 remained unchanged.

Similarly, the CSE key index, CSCX gained 48.13 points to stand at 7938.50 points also at 11:40 am.

Of the issues traded till then, 75 gained, 14 suffered loss and 13 remained unchanged.
