Dhaka, Aug 07 (UNB) – Comrade Chowdhury Giasuddin, valiant freedom fighter (FF) and founding member of Bangladesh Institute of Labor Studies (BILS), died of old age ailments at his Chittagong Mirsarai upazila residence early Tuesday.
He was 70.
A senior trade union activists Giasuddin is survived by wife, one son and three daughters and a host of relatives, friends and co-comrades and many admirers to mourn his death.
In a condolence massage, Habibur Rahman Siraj, chairman of BILS, Nazrul Islam Khan and other trade union leaders expressed their deep shock at the demise of their comrade.
They preyed for the salvation of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family.
