Missing man found dead in Noakhali

News - Missing man found dead in Noakhali
Noakhali, Aug 8 (UNB) – A shopkeeper who went missing in Begumganj upazila on July 29 was found dead on Tuesday.

Police recovered the body of Sohrab Hossain, son of late Kabir Hossain of Baroitan village in the upazila, from a ditch at the village around noon. He had a tearoom at local Bangla Bazar.

Police said someone called Sohrab out of his house in the wee small hours of July 29. Since then, he remained missing.

A man, Matin, saw the body of Sohrab while collecting hyacinth from the ditch around noon on Tuesday.

Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Noakhali Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
