2 killed in separate Comilla road accidents

Comilla, Aug 8 (UNB) - Two people were killed in separate road accidents at Daudkandi upazila on Wednesday evening.

The deceased were identified as Almas, 22, hailed from Sadar upazila of Narsingdi district and Abdul Karim, 20, hailed from Maizpara village of Daudkandi upazila.

Witnesses said a sand laden truck ran over Almas, helper of a truck of Pepsi Company, leaving him dead on the spot at Swalpa Pellai area of the upazila around 3pm.

In another accident, a Dhaka-bound truck from Daudkandi fell into a roadside ditch leaving Abdul Karim, driver and owner of the truck, dead on the spot at 4pm.
